Your Talent, our Vision – together we see beyond. Your start at ZEISS Vision Care. As a leading manufacturer of ophthalmic lenses, we help people around the world achieve a clearer vision – sustainable and with focus on the future.

Our products are as diverse as the career paths we offer, from tailored lenses to award-winning measurement systems. Become part of our team and shape a future in which clear vision and professional success go hand in hand.

Your Role

  • Define, implement, and continuously improve ZEISS retail excellence standards (e.g., customer journey, service protocols, visual merchandising, KPIs) in line with ZEISS retail strategy, brand positioning, and regional priorities.

  • Identify and build critical retail capabilities (e.g., store operations, training, sales, CRM), including standardized processes/tools, and contribute to the development of new formats and retail training programs with Brand, Training, and Commercial teams.

  • Further develop and refine existing ZEISS retail formats based on market feedback, customer insights, and performance data.

  • Support market entries and format rollouts, collaborating with local/regional teams to adapt concepts to local needs while maintaining global standards.

  • Define and monitor key retail KPIs, analyze store and concept performance, and derive insights to initiate improvement actions.

  • Partner with Architecture, Marketing, Sales, Digital, Product Management, and external partners to ensure an integrated, on-brand customer experience across channels and in-store.

  • Coordinate closely with markets on expansion and growth plans to scale ZEISS retail formats globally.

As a Retail Manager you are responsible for building and driving retail excellence across ZEISS partner retail formats within the ZEISS Business Partner Program. This role focuses on identifying and integrating retail capabilities into the overall retail strategy, optimizing existing store formats, and supporting scalable expansion in line with ZEISS brand, customer experience, and commercial objectives.

  • Proven track record in managing or supporting multi-store operations, implementing retail standards and processes as well as improving store performance through data-driven decisions

  • Experience with concept development, pilots, format expansion and franchise-formats is highly desirable.

  • Familiarity with omnichannel and customer-centric retail models is an advantage.

  • Strong understanding of end-to-end retail operations and general retail trends in an international setup

  • High customer orientation and passion for delivering outstanding in-store experiences.
