• Processes beverage orders for the restaurant, and Room Service upon proper registration and ordering process 

• Approaches guests suggesting a cocktail/wine or non-alcoholic beverages and recommending promotional items

 • Uses approved suggestive selling techniques to up sell products with higher profit margin

 • Maintains knowledge of bar inventory and wine selection to respond properly to guest questions

 • Maintains a thorough knowledge of beverage recipes and mixing procedures

 • Maintains responsibility for the set up and cleanliness of entire bar and adjoining lounge area at all times

 • Maintains a thorough knowledge of standard policies and procedures regarding cash handling, check-writing, credit cards, city ledger and customer ledger 

• Evaluates bar menu, and gives suggestions for improvement to Food and Beverage Manager

 • Full knowledge of alcohol and liquor policies and regulations, and complies fully with them 

• Prepares bar business plan and budget together with Food & Beverage Manager

 • Analyses budget, and takes action when required

The ideal candidate is maximizing guest satisfaction by managing the bar, providing efficient, prompt, trouble free, courteous and quality beverage service to bar guests, in line with departmental and hotel guidelines, and The Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group’s corporate guidelines and service concepts. ︈︈︌︇︀︂︆︄​︂︆︄︄​︁︁︎︌​︈︂︇︍​︈︆︅️︊︄︈︌︊︎︂︎
