Resource & Compliance Coordinator

Auckland, NZ Until 9/22/2026 3+ years exp First posted July 24, 2026 Last posted July 24, 2026
Job description

Integrated Maintenance Group (IMG) is a well-established engineering company specialising in maintenance, project execution, fabrication, and hydraulic services, with locations across the North Island. We take on complex challenges across multiple industries, delivering expert solutions with precision. Our team is committed to safety, quality, and operational excellence, ensuring every project is completed with care and professionalism.

About the Role
We’re on the lookout for a proactive and adaptable Resource Coordinator to support our on-demand, casual workforce. Based at our client’s site in Glenbrook, this role is essential in ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time, often with little notice!

In this role, no two days are the same. One moment you could be sourcing a single person for a quick clean-up job, and the next, you're pulling together a full crew for a major shutdown. Plans can change quickly and sometimes frustratingly but our clients are at the heart of our business, so we stay positive, flexible, and make it happen with a smile.

Based at our client’s site in Glenbrook, you’ll be the key link between our workforce and the client, ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly while upholding both our internal standards and those of our client.

This role is not for faint-hearted; there are sometimes phone calls after hours, and when projects are on, you may have to support the work on the weekend, but this is infrequent and forecasted.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide outstanding customer service to our client, understand job briefings and coordinate labour to meet requirements
  • Run the full recruitment cycle: write job ads, screen CVs, arrange interviews, and complete reference checks to ensure we have a high-quality casual pool
  • Coordinate onboarding, inductions, and compliance processes, which includes D&A testing
  • Keep employee records accurate and up to date, including training and compliance documentation
  • Prepare and submit compliance reports and documentation as required by management
  • Be the go-to contact for our casual workforce, answer questions, solve problems, and offer support
  • Maintain audit-ready records in line with ISO 45001 and ISO 9001 standards
  • Drive continuous improvement, if you see a better way, we want to hear it!

What You’ll Bring

  • 3+ years’ experience in workforce coordination, HR administration, or a similar role
  • A background in a fast-paced or labour-hire environment is a strong advantage
  • Solid understanding of NZ employment law, good-faith principles, and health and safety requirements
  • A calm, solutions-focused approach and strong organisational skills
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and confident managing systems and files
  • Excellent written communication skills and the discretion to handle confidential matters
  • Bonus: Experience working within ISO-certified environments

What We Offer

  • A stable, full-time role with genuine impact
  • A values-led team culture prioritising people and performance
  • Opportunities to improve systems and influence resourcing processes

If you’re looking for a role where no two days are the same, and you thrive under pressure while keeping things running behind the scenes, this could be the opportunity for you.

We are only considering New Zealand citizens (and permanent residents domiciled in New Zealand).

A pre-employment drug and alcohol test will be required
