Residential Manager

Job Description Summary:  The Residential Manager is a mental health professional who is responsible for ensuring that individual services are delivered in a trauma informed and person-centered approach.  The Residential Manager will ensure that services meet the standards of care as established by Ozark Center and State and Federal regulations.  The Residential Manager will assess, plan, develop, and coordinate recovery services to promote the maximum level of independence with each client served.   The Manager will teach and train staff to ensure that services are delivered with the highest standard of care.  The Manager shall report directly to the Program Supervisor/QMHP at TRAILS. 

Responsibilities:

• Provide supervision, oversight and training with assigned staff to ensure best care practices and job competencies are understood and met.
• Ensure required documentation is completed correctly and within timelines given to meet quality measures.  Discuss QA and clinical issues with the Program Supervisor/QMHP
• Serve as back-up to assigned staff when these staff are unavailable (due to being with other clients, sickness, vacation, etc.) and/or in need of additional expertise.
• Prioritize and assist with management of client needs and supports.
• Provide program training and supports where needed to ensure quality of services delivered.
• Coordinate individual/family/group therapist to the clients as required and indicated in the treatment plan.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Requires prolonged sitting, frequent standing, bending, and stooping.
• Requires a typical range of hearing and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard, telephone, photocopier, calculator, and other office equipment as needed.
• Requires standing, sitting, or walking for up to 8 hours or longer per workday.
• Tb test upon hire.
