Lead Technical Excellence on a Major Data Centre Project
Bureau Veritas is seeking an experienced Resident Engineer (Electrical) to oversee construction quality, compliance, and project execution for a large-scale data centre development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead quality assurance and quality control activities on-site.
- Monitor electrical construction works for compliance with specifications, codes, and project requirements.
- Coordinate inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Review contractor deliverables, methodologies, and technical submissions.
- Manage quality-related issues and oversee corrective actions.
- Prepare inspection reports and project documentation.
- Participate in progress, technical, and coordination meetings.
- Provide technical guidance to site teams and project stakeholders.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Registered Professional Engineer or Graduate Engineer with BEM.
- Minimum 10 years of construction project experience.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, QA/QC processes, and site supervision.
- Experience in data centre, mission-critical, industrial, or large-scale infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
- Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin.
