Job description

We're seeking research scientists and engineers to create breakthrough innovations in language models, machine learning, reinforcement learning, computer vision, robotics, and related areas. We are particularly interested in frontier models (including large multimodal models) and agentic workflows. You will work in an organization of world-class machine learning researchers and engineers. Our work powers cutting-edge technologies across the Apple ecosystem and is published in the most selective scientific journals and conferences.

Minimum Qualifications

Significant experience building complete prototypes that achieve state-of-the-art performance in your areas of expertise.
Solid software engineering skills in complex, multi-language systems. Fluency in Python.
Expertise in ML algorithms and top practices for working with deep learning systems.
Proficiency with ML modeling frameworks (PyTorch, Tensorflow, etc.).
Strong overall software development approach. You deliver clean, well-tested code.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors, Masters, or PhD Degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or equivalent academic or professional experience.
