Research Intern

Rapsodo is a sports technology company that designs computer vision and machine learning products to help athletes maximize their performance. With offices strategically located in Singapore, Turkey, the USA, Japan, and the UK. Rapsodo is the undisputed leader in sports technology. Current partners include all 30 MLB teams, MLB, USA Baseball, Golf Digest, PGA of America, and over 1000 NCAA athletic departments.

Opened in 2018, our Turkey office operates as the R&D arm of Rapsodo. We have offices located in Bayraklı & Technopark in the Izmir Ege University, recognized by the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology as one of Turkey’s most successful Technoparks. Our offices incorporate UI/UX, Mobile, Cloud Technologies along with Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Data Science and Unity teams. Rapsodo is rapidly growing, and we are looking for team players who will contribute to deliver state-of-the-art solutions with us. We're looking for a Research Intern to join us!

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular research across technology news platforms, developer communities, social media, forums, research publications, and employer review websites.
• Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, AI developments, and competitor activities relevant to R&D teams.
• Research how Rapsodo is represented across public platforms and summarize findings for internal stakeholders.
• Benchmark competitor engineering organizations, hiring strategies, technical initiatives, and employer branding activities.
• Consolidate research findings into clear, concise, and actionable reports and presentations.
• Share periodic research summaries with engineering leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Track developer community discussions, technical events, conferences, and innovation trends relevant to the business.
• Utilize AI tools to accelerate research, summarize large volumes of information, and identify recurring themes and insights.
• Maintain a structured repository of research materials and industry intelligence.
• Support ad-hoc research projects requested by R&D leadership.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources into meaningful insights.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
• Familiarity with AI-powered research tools (such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, or similar) is considered a plus.
• Interest in technology, software development, AI, and innovation.
