We are looking for a Research Fellow to pursuing cutting-edge research in free electron-driven EUV emission. The role will focus on simulations, design and performance of experiments pertaining to the use of nanophotonic structures to enhance the performance of free electron-driven EUV emission for imaging, lithography and other applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform simulations in nanophotonics, free electron-driven EUV emission and EUV technologies.

  • Design and optimize EUV technologies based on free electron-driven materials

  • Lead papers and publish in high-impact journals

  • Present at top-tier international conferences

  • Assist PI in writing grants and supervision of graduate and undergraduate students

  • Provide logistical support pertaining to laboratory operation for the project

Job Requirements:

  • PhD (for Research Fellow and above equivalent) degree in nanophotonics, EUV technology or related field

  • Familiarity with Maxwell’s equation, nanophotonic simulations and optical measurements

  • Good written and oral communication skills

  • Proficiency in Maxwell’s equations and scientific programming (e.g., Matlab, Python, C++)

  • Competent in teamwork and presenting results in informative visuals

  • Interpersonal skill: Ability to work under pressure, Ability to work independently, develop solutions under strict timelines, meticulous and eye for details, excellent organizational / time management skills
