Innovative Electronic & Electromagnetic Devices Laboratory (i-Lab@NTU) led by Prof. Mohammad Samizadeh Nikoo is seeking for a research fellow to focus on fabrication, simulation, and characterization of integrated photonics devices.

Key Responsibilities:

The research fellow will focus on the following tasks:

  • Design and Simulation of integrated photonics components such as waveguides, grating couplers, etc.

  • Micro- and Nano-fabrication of photonics devices in cleanroom environments.

  • Experimental characterization of integrated photonics chips.

  • Providing general research support to i-Lab.

Job Requirements:

  • PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field

  • Research experience in photonics with a strong publication track record

  • Expertise in cleanroom nano-fabrication

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work well in a team
