Job description

School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology is a newly established interdisciplinary joint school under College of Engineering and College of Science at NTU Singapore. The key objective is to support efforts to Covalent Organic Frameworks under Prof Zhao Yanli’s group

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, synthesis and characterization of donor-acceptor covalent organic frameworks, and their applications in photocatalysis.

  • A strong research experience in synthetic chemistry and analytical characterizations.

  • A solid experience for carrying out photocatalysis. 

  • An ability to analyze experimental data and write scientific papers.

  • An ability to present the research results precisely and professionally.

Job Requirements:

  • PhD degree in the field of chemistry or equivalent.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong initiatives.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to perform synthesis, characterization and photocatalysis experiments.

  • Have research experience in related field.
