At Scaled Foundations, our mission is to lower the barriers to entry in robotics through deep machine learning, simulation, and large-scale computing. Our platform, GRID, empowers users to explore and test cutting-edge robots, generate synthetic data through simulation, and develop and deploy AI models derived from this data. With GRID, we aim to enable every roboticist to ideate, develop, test, and deploy their hypotheses effortlessly.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy algorithms to generate high-quality, multimodal synthetic training data for solving robotics tasks in simulation.

• Engineer large-scale data generation systems to support these tasks.

• Collaborate with researchers, product managers, and simulation engineers to build robust data generation pipelines.

• Onboard and enable robot features, (such as controllers for various form factors) in simulators.

What We Are Looking For

• Passion for our mission and readiness to tackle dynamic challenges to help achieve it.

• Experience in Reinforcement Learning (RL), Imitation Learning (IL), and generating robotic data from simulations.

• Expertise in Robotics.

• The ability to work autonomously and demonstrate strong independence.

• A proactive approach to taking ownership and clearly communicating with stakeholders.

It Would Be Ideal If You

• Have publications in IROS, NeurIPS, ICLR, or similar top-tier conferences and journals.

• Hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science or Robotics.

• Have experience with simulation platforms like Isaac, Sapien, AirGen, AirSim, Habitat, or similar tools.
