• Individual will be responsible for the conception and implementation of enzymatic and cell based assays for the characterization of a small molecule therapeutic currently in preclinical development. 

Experience with the following techniques are required: mammalian cell culture, ELISA, enzyme activity assays, cell based assays, reporter assays (such as luciferase) and cell signaling assays (for example, calcium flux or kinase phosphorylation/activation). 

• Assay development and trouble-shooting skills are a must. 

Candidate must have a background in one or more of the following fields: cell biology, immunology, molecular biology, biochemistry, enzymology.

Educational requirements: BS degree with at least 7-10 years of laboratory experience. 

• Prior experience in industry is strongly preferred.

• Prior experience in handling of/assay development for small molecular therapeutics is highly desirable.
