Research Assistant (Physics/Optical Engineering/Photonics)

The School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS) at NTU is seeking a motivated Research Assistant to join our dynamic team working on frontier research in ultrafast femtosecond laser science.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setup, operate, and maintain advanced femtosecond laser experimental systems.

• Perform optical measurements and data acquisition for research projects.

• Analyze experimental data using computational tools.

• Assist in laboratory management and contribute to scholarly publications.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Physics, Optical Engineering, Photonics, or related field.

• Hands-on experience with optics/laser labs and strong experimental skills.

• Proficiency in programming for data analysis (Python/MATLAB).

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• A keen interest in ultrafast science and photonics research.
