The Administrator will be a member of the GSSM academic programs administration team and as such will coordinate with other members of the team, specifically, the Dean of Curriculum and Research and the Institutional Research Analyst as appropriate. This position will set the vision, lead, and expand the GSSM student research program and provide oversight of hydroponics lab.&nbsp;</strong></p><p style="margin: 0 0 8pt"><strong>Responsibilities of the <strong>Administrator of Research and Inquiry</strong>:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and supervise operational processes for GSSM Research and Inquiry programs for students in all academic programs, including summer mentored experiences, school year designated courses, and supporting activities.</li><li>Lead and supervise the Research and Inquiry staff and instructors of school year Research designated courses, while supervising the operations and maintenance of GSSM hydroponic research lab, Academic teams and competitions, as well as other campus research facilities.</li><li>Develop and maintain partnerships to support GSSM Research and Inquiry programs.</li><li>Evaluate objectives for the GSSM Research and Inquiry programs. Collect and evaluate and provide information for program evaluation, reports, institutional research, promotional materials, donor reports, GSSM Foundation, and ether activities as needed.</li><li>Represent GSSM, mission, and leadership in student research and increase experiences in the community locally, statewide, nationally, and internationally.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>A bachelor's degree and professional experience as a planner, researcher or statistician. A master's degree in statistics or a related discipline may be substituted for the required work experience.<br><br><strong>Additional Requirements</strong><ul><li>Full-time salaried position on campus.</li><li>Some night and weekend work may be required.&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, and enter personal skills.</li><li>Ability to collaborate with administrator, faculty, staff, students, parents, and university business partners.</li><li>Ability to work independently as a part of a team.</li><li>Ability to handle constructive criticism, plan, and deliver stem activities for students and teachers.</li></ul><p style="margin: 0 0 8pt"><strong><u>Please note that some areas of the Agency may require an official, certified copy of the transcript prior to hiring or within a specific timeframe required by that area after hiring.
