Research Analyst (Oil & Gas, Chemicals and Utilities)

Primary Responsibilities:

• This role will be an integral part of a sizable global fundamental equity investment team focusing on oil & gas, chemicals and utilities sectors.
• Monitor and conduct analysis on sector/company-specific newsflow and key events.
• Attend relevant company calls, investor meetings and industry conferences.
• Summarize key takeaways and formulate actionable insights.
• Build, maintain, and update relevant databases and financial models to support investment decisions.
• Contribute to the investment process through regular written and verbal reports on industry trends, market events, and individual company developments.
• Collaborate with other team members on regular/ad-hoc research projects.

Qualifications:

• Ideally 5 years of experience in sellside/buyside equity research, industry research, consultant, or other roles with a solid understanding for the global oil & gas, chemicals and utilities sectors.
• Passionate about stock markets with excellent analytical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate research findings in an accurate and concise manner.
• Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with a global team.
