Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

• Responsible to monitor all the bunch analysis sampling activities for all breeding trails and genetics

• Implement sustainable system/pipeline for high quality planting materials thru Plant Breeding.

• Responsible for QC bunch for Breeding trails and genetics.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/INDIVIDUAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Monitor workers' health as well and safety instruments for daily operations.

• Plan schedule, give Instruction to worker’s and intermediate contact with staff Bunch Analysis Lab.

• Make sure safety procedures are taken care of – sickle, chisel, axe and PPE are involved.

• Checklist all equipment and do a primary maintenance for repairing or replacement items.

• Responsible in supervise field operation for all R&D trials.

• Monitor Bunch Analysis operations and must follow all activities worker’s in fields.

• Checking and maintaining the succession rate of Bunch Analysis sampel target perday.

• QC Bunch selection and data collection - ripe, overripe, underripe, unripe, fruit typing, long stalk.

• Supervise PA’s in bunch analysis sampling- harvesting, chopping, randomization and labeling.

• Ensure all works procedure follows the SOP.

• Responsibility to every worker if an accident has occurred and do a safety report.

• Monitor BA Data for Breeding trials and genetics.

• Technically assist Breeder to selection fruit for bunch analysis sample.

  QUALIFICATIONS AND WORKING EXPERIENCE

Qualification

• Diploma in Plantation/Agricultural or another related field

 

Experience

• At least 2–3 years in a supervisory or team leader role.

• Ability to coordinate daily tasks, assign responsibilities, and monitor performance.

• Knowledge of plantation operations, especially palm oil or similar crops.

• Scheduling work, minimizing delays, and maintaining productivity.

• Clear verbal and written communication for team coordination and reporting.

• Good knowledge in bunch analysis and map user.
