Apply to this jobThe Reporting & BI Analyst II is responsible for data analytics, reporting, and BI solution development. Position will support the Data & Analytics organization by delivering scalable reporting solutions, interactive dashboards, and actionable business insights across Auto Finance operations. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analytics teams to transform data from multiple enterprise systems into meaningful information that supports strategic and operational decision-making. Will leverage the modern data platform built on AWS Cloud, Informatica, Snowflake, dbt, and Sigma Computing to develop trusted reporting assets and enable self-service analytics capabilities.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise BI dashboards, scorecards, and reports using Sigma Computing, Snowflake, and SQL while ensuring usability, performance, and scalability.
- Analyze, validate, and reconcile data from multiple Auto Finance source systems, including loan origination, loan servicing, lease, wholesale, CRM, General Ledger, master data, and reference data to ensure accuracy and integrity of reporting.
- Strong financial services knowledge (experience with retail lending platforms and/or loan origination systems/servicing systems), technical acumen, and Agile product ownership experience is necessary. Collaborate with Data Engineering teams leveraging AWS, Informatica, Snowflake, and dbt to define reporting requirements, business metrics, data models, and analytics-ready datasets.
- Perform data quality analysis, root cause investigations, report testing, documentation, and continuous improvement activities to support data governance, self-service analytics, and operational excellence.
- Partner with business stakeholders across Risk, Retail, Lease, Wholesale, CRM, Finance, and Operations teams to gather requirements and deliver reporting, dashboard, KPI, and analytics solutions that support business decision-making.
- Support data engineering activities including data profiling, ETL/ELT validation, source-to-target mapping reviews, testing of data pipelines, and troubleshooting data integration issues to improve data availability, quality, and reliability across the enterprise data platform.
- Independently prioritize and execute assigned reporting, analytics, and data validation activities with limited day-to-day supervision.
- Make decisions regarding report design, dashboard visualization, KPI calculations, data analysis methodologies, and reporting optimization within established Data & Analytics standards.
- Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions in collaboration with business and technical teams.
- Provide recommendations to stakeholders based on data analysis, trends, and business performance insights.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering teams on data sourcing, data model enhancements, and reporting dataset requirements, while escalating complex technical or architectural decisions as needed.
- Support testing and validation of data pipelines, transformations, and reporting solutions, exercising judgment in identifying and mitigating data risks.
- Work under general direction from Data & Analytics leadership, receiving guidance on strategic priorities, project objectives, and escalated issues.
- Influence business decisions through data-driven insights but does not have direct budgetary, personnel, or policy-making authority.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Reporting, Data Analytics, or a related role.
- Strong experience developing dashboards and reporting solutions using modern BI platforms.
- Hands-on experience querying and analyzing data using SQL.
- Experience working with Snowflake Data Cloud and dimensional data models.
- Familiarity with dbt transformations and analytics engineering concepts.
- Experience working with cloud-based data ecosystems, preferably AWS.
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and tools such as Informatica.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data validation skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and business teams.
