Remote Work From Home: Lao Voice Recording Project

Help teach AI to understand natural, everyday Lao speech!

 

AI tools need real human voices to improve accuracy. In this short project, you'll record sentences in Lao, helping build better speech recognition for Lao speakers everywhere.

 

What you'll do

▷ Record 250 short sentences in Lao using the Appen Task app

▷ Speak clearly and naturally in your native Lao accent

▷ Record in a quiet environment (e.g. bedroom or similar)

▷ Complete your session in approximately 1 hour

 

What you'll get

▷ Pay: $0.05 per sentence — earn up to $12.50 USD for the entire session ( 1hr ) 

▷ Work from home, fully remote

 

What you'll need

 

▷ Native Lao speaker currently located in Laos

▷ Smartphone compatible with the Appen Task app

▷ Quiet recording environment (e.g. bedroom)

▷ Ability to follow instructions in English

 

 

This role is a project-based opportunity with CrowdGen, where you will join the CrowdGen Community as an Independent Contractor. If selected, you will receive an email from CrowdGen regarding the creation of an account using your application email address. You will need to log in to this account and reset the password, complete the setup requirements, and proceed with your application for this project-based role.
