Responsibilities
Design and documentation of low voltage systems, including:
- Structured cabling (voice/data networks)
- Access control
- Audio/visual (A/V)
- CCTV / security systems
- Wireless infrastructure
Coordinate with architectural, electrical, and IT teams.
Prepare drawings, specifications, and detailed layouts for low voltage systems.
Ensure compliance with industry standards (TIA/EIA, BICSI, NEC, etc.).
Review submittals and support construction administration when required.
Requirements
- RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) certification preferred (not mandatory but highly valued).
- 5+ years of experience in technology systems design, ideally for commercial, institutional, or mixed-use projects.
- Experience in science and technology projects including cleanrooms, laboratories, specialized manufacturing facilities, and other spaces with distinct and highly specific requirements.
- Revit and Cad knowledge
- Experience with U.S. projects and standards.
- Fluent in English and advanced communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently with minimal supervision.
