The Remote Service Delivery Professional ensures Baker Hughes delivers flawless execution through communicated risk assessments and pre-job planning, active job execution via remote technologies, post job analysis and knowledge sharing. This position is responsible for delivering flawless performance to our customers via the use of technologies that allow job execution from a remote facility (away from the rig site). The Remote Service Delivery Professional is responsible for executing the job in accordance with internal, regulatory, and customer/contract requirements through strict adherence to our Managing the Job Cycle process. The Remote Service Delivery Professional directs communication including details such as job details, tool performance, and provides real time work instruction to the customer and field professionals stationed at the rig site.
As a Remote Service Delivery Professional, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring compliance with Manage the Job Cycle (MtJC) process.
- Executing and directing rig site activities from a remote hub Location
- Executing the operational plan per the contract terms and conditions.
- Providing all real-time job monitoring activities in support of the on-site drilling process.
- Communicating needed data to the customer, rig site personnel, and other stakeholders as required.
- Engaging with your team to determine appropriate actions, relying upon experience, standard principles, concepts and techniques
- Remotely owning the operational status of field equipment at the well site
- Preparing service deliverables in accordance with standard operating procedures, internal management systems or customer agreed procedures

Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Preparing service deliverables in accordance with standard operating procedures, internal management systems or customer agreed procedures
- STEM degree or equivalent experience — associate or bachelor’s degree (or Global degree equivalent) in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, or related technical field with minimum of 2-4 years of industry experience.
- Have fluent communication in oral and written English.
- Analytical approach to problem-solving - be motivated and focused on results
- Have data interpretation skills — ability to review trend plots, alarms, and basic vibration signatures and escalate anomalies.
- Have experience with remote operations tools — Comfortable using remote desktop tools, VPNs, ticketing systems, and digital collaboration platforms.
- Basic networking/computer literacy — Understanding of file systems, data transfer, and secure access protocols.
- Ability to work the required scheduled hours (12-hour shift) and rotate between days/nights as needed. (2 on, 1 off schedule)
Desired Characteristics:
- Proficiency with industrial monitoring software — Ability to navigate vibration/condition monitoring platforms (e.g., System 1, PI, OSIsoft, or similar).
- Be an excellent communicator, able to build a strong network with various stakeholders across business units
- Have proficient IT skills, and the ability to multitask whilst using technical equipment
- Be excited to learn new technical skills with regards to digital oilfield and various transmission protocols
- Thrive in a fast-moving environment and enjoy the need to react quickly to find solutions to problems
