Your Impact

As a Regulatory Engineer, you’ll be part of an international team ensuring our innovative Fire Detection products (control panels, detectors, VAD devices...) meet global safety and compliance standards. Your work will enable us to bring life-saving technology to markets worldwide. From securing approvals to influencing international standards, you’ll be at the heart of regulatory strategy.

What you will do

  • Drive compliance: Maintain technical files and ensure adherence to global directives and regulations.
  • Support testing and troubleshooting: Assist in compliance-related activities and perform basic troubleshooting when required.
  • Collaborate with the regulatory engineer from the approval agency to help clarify testing requirements and the test system itself.
  • Influence standards: Represent us on national and international standards committees.
  • Assemble, connect, and commission a test system at the approval agency.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for EMC and environmental issues, and be capable of resolving these problems in collaboration with a hardware engineer.
  • Partner with innovation: Provide regulatory expertise to project teams and review engineering changes.
  • Manage quality: Oversee European ISO Quality System and related processes.
  • Navigate approvals: Handle device changes with regulatory agencies and forecast approval budgets.

What we are looking for

  • Technical background in electronics (education or hands on experience) with solid understanding of electronic components, circuits, systems is a must.
  • Enthusiasm to grow into a regulatory/compliance-focused role
  • Advanced level of English (written & spoken).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset, able to work effectively with international colleagues

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience or basic awareness of European or global regulatory requirements, certification processes, or regulatory agencies.
  • Fire/Security industry experience.
