Registered Veterinary Technician, RVT 

Location: Toronto, ON

Employment Type: Regular Full-time

Compensation: $30.00 to $38.00 per hour, depending on experience

Downtown Animal Hospital is welcoming a full-time experienced Registered Veterinary Technician, RVT to join our team of skilled veterinary professionals. While our network is large, we still offer that local community feeling, mentorship, and additional training!

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

  • Experience assisting with surgical procedures, including patient preparation, anesthesia support and surgical assistance

  • Strong knowledge of patient recovery, monitoring and post operative care

  • Ability to maintain detailed records

  • Commitment to providing compassionate, high quality care to our patients and exceptional support to their pet parents

  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities during multiple appointments throughout the day

  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills

  • A passion for continuous learning and development

  • A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their health and well being
