Job Description:

Unit Highlights: Surgical PCU

  • Surgical PCU is a new and growing unit, 20 beds unit with strong focus on Post Cath procedural patients.  We have a mix of patients from strokes to post procedure. COPD and CHF exacerbations. The level of acuity ranges from low to moderate. 

Schedule: Full Time 3 / 12hrs shifts 6:45a - 7:15p - 3 /12s w/rotation of weekend and holidays

Job Description:

  • Assesses and interprets diagnostic data relative to patient age and condition, including lab results, non-invasive monitoring data, and interdisciplinary team notes. 
  • Makes appropriate decisions and implements interventions based on nursing diagnoses according to patients' actual or potential health conditions or needs.
  • Sets measurable and achievable short and long-range goals for patients, developing and implementing individualized plans of care.
  • Prioritizes and completes follow-up assessments, evaluating and modifying plans of care as needed.
  • Completes timely assessments including physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors, including signs of abuse or neglect.


Education:

  • Associate's of Nursing [Required]
  • Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]


Licenses and Certifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
  • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

Pay Range:

$31.53 - $52.24
