Are you ready to become a part of our dynamic Neonatal Care Center team?

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Advocates for patients and families to ensure positive patient care outcomes.
  • Documents all changes as well as relevant information regarding patient’s response to intervention, therapeutic regimens, and patient progress as it relates to plan of care and patient’s response to teaching.
  • Communicates effectively with patients, families' peers and other members of the healthcare team.
  • Includes patient, family, and caregivers in all aspects of care while ensuring that all explanations are understandable.
  • Attends deliveries when appropriate. Implements stabilization process according to NRP guidelines.​
  • Responds effectively and professionally in a crisis situation.
  • Provides resources to assist patients and families with post-discharge needs.

Scheduled Hours: Per Diem Level 1 Requirement.

  • 32 hrs. in a 6-week block period.
  • Of those 32 hrs.,12 hrs. are weekend.
  • 1 winter & 1 summer holiday.

Work Shift: Rotating - strongly prefer someone who can commit to nights.

Education Required: Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program. BSN preferred.

Licenses, Registrations, Certifications Required:

  • State of Massachusetts RN licensure (or eligibility) 
  • BLS Certification 
  • NRP

Experience: Neonatal Care in level 2 or 3 Nursery experience preferred, inpatient pediatric experience may be considered

Pay Range:

$36.93 - $80.96

This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time.  The pay range for this position is established and governed by the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Employees hired into this position will receive compensation consistent with the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
