Registered Nurse-OR General Surgery

• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift Time: 6:45am-5:15pm 4-10hr Days with call
• BLS 
• 1 year experience
• Estimated pay package $2000 (including stipend)

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room before, during, and after surgeries.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and ensure their comfort throughout surgical procedures.
• Administer medications and intravenous therapy as directed by the surgical team.
• Support the surgical team by providing necessary instruments and supplies during operations.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families to address concerns and provide updates.
• Document all relevant information related to patient care and surgical procedures accurately.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure compliance with safety regulations in the operating room.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience Operating Room setting.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile technique.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
