Where You Will Work:
 Atrium Health Levine Children's Genetics Metabolic Clinic, Levine Children's Specialty Center is a comprehensive pediatric outpatient specialty practice providing care across numerous pediatric specialties. The Genetics and Metabolic Program delivers specialized services through a collaborative team that includes physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, dietitians, genetic counselors, social workers, and other healthcare professionals dedicated to improving outcomes for children with rare and complex medical conditions.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN);
  • BSN required / MSN preferred
  • Two years of relatable experience
  • Preferred: Pediatric Nursing Certification (CPN) or other relevant specialty certification. Certification in the appropriate specialized field within 2 years of being in the position required.
  • BLS
  • Preferred: Additional education in genetics, pediatric specialty nursing, care coordination, or patient navigation.

What You’ll Do:

  • Coordinate the patient's care to increase the efficiency and quality of care that is delivered to the patient.
  • This role will start with the time of the patient's diagnosis and will continue through the patient's journey throughout their care.
  • Will be the patient advocate and care for them in a highly supportive and personal manner and also will serve as a liaison to ensure that patients and families receive resources and services as needed.
