Registered Nurse - Float

SUMMARY

As a Registered Nurse – ESS Float, you are the engine and the heart of patient care at Rochester Regional Health. By working on assignments and/or floating through Rochester Regional Health facilities, you provide care where it’s needed most.
 

Enhanced Staff Solutions provides flexible resources across Rochester Regional Health. Provide care where it’s needed most through as a Registered Nurse – ESS Float.

Our Float Flex Team must:

• Work Shift to Shift across Rochester Regional Health facilities

• Work at least 144 hours every calendar quarter

• Work four (4) 12-hour weekend shifts per calendar quarter

• Work one (1) major holiday OR four (4) minor holidays

• Be assigned to facility 12 hours before the shift start

• Be assigned to the unit 2 hours before the shift start

ATTRIBUTES

• 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse required.

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.

• NYS Registered Nurse License required.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.

• Experience in medical, surgical, critical care, and/or emergency patient care preferred.

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification preferred.

• Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) Certification preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Patient Satisfaction. Solicit and respond to patient feedback to improve service and processes that will enhance the patient experience.
   

• Medication Administration & Reporting. Administer medication and give/receive relevant reports, both written and verbal.
   

• Documentation. Ensure concise, pertinent and complete patient care documentation using computerized medical record process

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

PAY RANGE:

$55.00 - $75.00Rochester14617

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
