Registered Dietitian

JOB DESCRIPTION: Registered Dietitian, full-time for Garden City Healthcare Center, Medicare certified, short-term rehabilitation and skilled nursing home facility.

Experience: At least one year of experience in a nursing home setting is preferred, however all candidates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities and Duties

POSITION: The Registered Dietitian provides nutritional analysis and guidance to individual residents to treat and prevent disease. They also work closely with the Food and Nutrition Department to maintain optimal nutritional standards and process improvement. As a Department Head team member and will assist in Interdisciplinary Team meetings, enriching the lives of residents in the facility.

Qualifications and Skills

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

1) Graduate with a BS in Food and Nutrition or a related field

2) Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $70,000.00 per year
