Regional Manager - Sydney

Are you a high-performing retail leader with a proven track record managing multiple sites and developing high-performing teams?

We're looking for an experienced Regional Manager to lead a portfolio of stores across the Hills District, Northern Beaches and Central Coast. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially astute leader who thrives on achieving results, coaching great talent, and creating a culture where both team members and customers love to be.

As a key member of the leadership team, you'll partner with Store Managers to drive sales, profitability, customer experience, operational excellence, and team engagement across the region.

Your Strategic Impact

Driving Commercial Performance

• Lead stores to achieve and exceed sales, profitability, wage, and KPI targets.
• Monitor and manage regional performance, expenses, and budgets to deliver sustainable growth.
• Analyse store and regional performance data, P&L reports, and key metrics to identify opportunities and drive action.
• Partner with Store Managers to develop and execute store-specific business plans.
• Manage gross profit performance, stock integrity, and inventory outcomes in line with company expectations.
• Drive growth across key business areas, including loyalty programs, private label sales, and pet services.

Leading and Developing High-Performing Teams

• Inspire, coach, and develop Store and Assistant Managers to achieve exceptional results.
• Build capability across the region through ongoing feedback, mentoring, and succession planning.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop high-calibre talent to strengthen leadership pipelines.
• Support leaders in managing performance, conduct, investigations, absenteeism, and employee relations matters.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, recognition, and continuous improvement.
• Champion team engagement initiatives and action plans across all stores.

Delivering Operational Excellence

• Conduct regular store visits, providing hands-on coaching and clear direction to drive performance improvements.
• Ensure stores consistently deliver world-class customer service and achieve customer experience targets.
• Oversee compliance with operational standards, audits, task management requirements, and company policies.
• Ensure stores maintain high standards in presentation, visual merchandising, cleanliness, and planogram execution.
• Lead the successful implementation of national initiatives, marketing campaigns, and business projects.

Stock, Safety & Compliance

• Partner with Store Managers to optimise stock management, minimise shrinkage, and reduce risk.
• Monitor stock availability and inventory performance to maximise sales opportunities.
• Champion a safety-first culture across the region, ensuring compliance with all WH&S requirements.
• Investigate and address incidents, hazards, and risks promptly and effectively.
• Drive compliance across all operational, financial, and safety standards.

• Proven experience leading multiple retail locations and delivering strong commercial results.
• A demonstrated ability to drive sales growth, profitability, customer experience, and operational excellence.
• Strong financial acumen, including P&L management, budgeting, and inventory control.
• Exceptional leadership and coaching skills with a passion for developing people and building future leaders.
• Experience managing performance, succession planning, recruitment, and team engagement initiatives.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to work autonomously across a large geographical region.
• A genuine passion for pets, people, and creating exceptional customer experiences.
