The Role 

The Regatta Connect team builds and maintains the ecosystem around RegattaDB. We are looking for a Regatta Connect Engineer and Architect to design and develop products that enable seamless access to RegattaDB for all types of applications. The Regatta Connect team owns a diverse range of products, including database drivers, data connectors, and the RegattaDB external management system that facilitates both the Regatta Cloud (DBaaS) platform and on-prem deployments. We operate at the intersection of multiple technologies and contexts, tackling complex software and algorithmic challenges while designing for performance, scalability, resiliency, and security at every layer.

Everybody at Regatta, regardless of experience, has full ownership of the product’s architecture and design, software development, and quality assurance. In addition to hands-on software engineering, we encourage leadership, communication, teamwork, and cooperation.

Requirements

Must Have

• BSc in Computer Science 
• Fast learner with a passion for new technologies 
• Strong analytical skills with a systematic and execution-focused mindset
• High level of personal drive and ambition 
• Fluent in English 

Preferred

• Proficiency in developing and integrating Spring-based applications.
• Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines and internal developer platforms.
• Experience working directly with customers, including supporting production environments, troubleshooting issues, and delivering customer-facing features.
• Track record of designing systems that reduce friction for developers and improve reliability at scale.
• Experience with database connectivity technologies such as JDBC, ODBC, Kafka, and other database connectors.
• Familiarity with GitOps, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices.

The role is on-site at Regatta's offices in Binyamina. 

Regatta's offices are conveniently located right near the Binyamina train station.
