POSITION SUMMARY:

The position is responsible for receiving goods at Studio City, City of Dreams & Altira from suppliers and distribution of goods to users.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure that all incoming goods are covered by a Purchase Order as well as Delivery Order / Invoice
• Ensure that all the incoming goods are of the required quantity and quality and prices.  If technical knowledge or professional judgement is required to assess the quality, refer to the relevant department for opinion and approval of acceptance
• Established procedures are to be adhered to.  Any deviations are to be corrected discreetly and immediately
• Report any irregularities to superior
• Ensure work area is clean and presentable.  Check maintenance of all equipment and request repair for all damages immediately
• Conduct cleaning of the loading dock including loading transit chiller on a daily basis to ensure compliance with HACCP requirements;
• Follow all Receiving Standard Operating Procedures in the daily operations of receiving and loading dock;
• Report immediately any irregularities pertaining to loading dock operation including but not limiting to the breakdown of loading dock facilities/equipment, damage to Company property or personnel injury to his/her Superior for immediate remedial or corrective actions;
• Must be properly attired with Personal Protective Equipment while conducting daily operations;
• All written and electronic documentation must be completed on a daily basis
• Perform other duties as assigned by superior
• Be flexible to work in Studio City, City of Dreams and Altira properties on given notice

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

• 100% match on goods received and data entered into the material management systems
• Receiving time is within the matrix of acceptable guidelines
• All written and electronic documentation must be completed on a daily basis

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience                                                                              

• Experience in the capacity of receiving & warehouse is required and preferably in hospitality industry
• Experience using ERP systems
• Experience in cold food and food handling in a definite plus

Education                                                                                    

• Secondary school academic qualifications
• Food Certificate is a plus

Skills / Competencies                                                       

• Must be able to use a computer and handheld devices
• Previous experience in driving electric vehicles preferred
• Previous experience in using manual pallet jack and hand pushed trolley preferred
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, general understand of hotel and business operations
• Hard working, Takes initiatives without prompts and Good time management skills
