Job description

The Dallas office of Barnes & Thornburg LLP is seeking an Associate with 4-6 years of experience to join its Real Estate Practice Group.

Job Requirements:

  • Commercial real estate experience with an emphasis on acquisitions, dispositions, and borrower financing of commercial properties.

  • Experience nationally in single asset and portfolio transactions, together with attendant financings and various capital stack structures.

  • Experience with leasing, development, joint-ventures and renewable energy transactions.

  • Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills.

  • Experience in problem solving and advising clients from inception to closing and in title, survey, and other customary due diligence matters.

  • Energy, drive, and desire to work in a dynamic, team-based, fast-paced and high-volume environment with strong attention to detail and motivation to learn.

  • Admission to the TX State Bar or the ability to waive into the TX State Bar is required.
