Railway Validation and Verification engineer

We are seeking a skilled Test and Validation Engineer to join our team, focusing on testing for embedded systems within the railway sector: 

• Define, update, and execute test strategies based on system and functional requirements.
• Design, execute, and maintain test cases and validation procedures for signalling subsystems.
• Perform non-regression, delta, and gap testing to ensure system compliance and stability.
• Set up, maintain, and support test environments, including test benches, HIL/SIL platforms, and laboratory rigs.
• Investigate, track, and coordinate resolution of anomalies through Change Request and defect management processes.
• Collaborate with Design, Software, and RAMS teams to implement corrective actions and ensure issue closure.
• Produce test reports, analyze results, and provide validation recommendations.
• Capitalize on and document V&V knowledge, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and team upskilling.
• Support integration and validation activities in laboratory environments and contribute to defect analysis.
• Participate in occasional business trips for product knowledge transfer and collaboration with international teams.

• Master’s degree (BAC+5) from an engineering school or university specializing in embedded systems.
• At least 5 years of successful experience in system/product validation, functional testing, or integration in a safety-critical industry (rail, aerospace, automotive)  
• Perform system and product validation activities, including functional, non-regression, and delta/gap testing in a safety-critical environment.
• Design, set up, and maintain test environments and validation benches (HIL/SIL) for system integration and verification.
• Manage requirements traceability and validation evidence using tools such as DOORS, Reqtify, and EWM throughout the V-Cycle.
