Radiographer

Our client's is seeking to employ an experienced Radiographer 

Responsibilities

-Preparing examination rooms for patient examinations.
-Positioning patients and equipment, explaining the procedures, and ensuring patients' comfort.
-Performing diagnostic imaging to obtain clear, usable images.
-Inserting commands and data into the computer to document and specify the scan sequences, and monitoring the video display to adjust the density or contrast.
-Monitoring patients during examinations, ensuring their safety, and following procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation.
-Producing diagnostic images, reporting important information to the Physician, and updating patients' records.
-Organizing the daily procedure schedules for emergencies and monitoring radiographic supplies.
-Performing administrative tasks, such as answering technical questions, scheduling appointments, and offering pre-procedure advice.
-Operate complex medical instruments such as MRIs, CT scanners, X-ray, ultrasound, and several other imaging devices.
-Direct and supervise the activities of radiography assistants and trainee radiographers
-Maintain proper records of patient details ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information
-Follow up on patients after treatment to track the progress of recovery and ensure patients show no signs of radiation side effect.

Requirements & Skills
-Bachelor's degree or Associate in Radiology.
-Minimum of 2 years proven experience working as a Radiographer.
-A license to practice Radiography.
-Good organizational, time management, and analytical abilities, and attention to detail.
-The ability to lift heavy weights without assistance.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills, empathy, and compassion.
-Good mathematical abilities and technical skills.
