Aureol Global Connections is expanding and is currently looking for 5 talented Quantity Surveyors to join our team. In these essential roles, you will be responsible for overseeing cost management, budget estimation, and financial planning for a variety of construction projects. Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for ongoing and upcoming construction projects.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring compliance with financial targets and reporting requirements.
  • Assist in the tendering process by preparing Bills of Quantities and evaluating contractor bids.
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and identify potential cost variations.
  • Collaborate with project managers to implement effective cost management strategies.
  • Review contracts and negotiate terms with subcontractors and suppliers to achieve best value.
  • Provide advice on financial matters related to claims, variations, and contract disputes.
  • Stay updated on market trends and legislative changes impacting the construction sector.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
  • Comprehensive understanding of construction processes, financial management, and cost estimating.
  • Proficient in quantity surveying software and MS Office applications.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate cost assessment.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities for liaising with clients and contractors.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional membership (e.g., RICS, CIOB) is advantageous but not required.
