Quality Manager

A reputable international contractor is hiring a Quality Manager to lead quality assurance and control activities for a large-scale energy infrastructure project in southern Iraq. This role is critical to ensuring that all engineering and construction works meet strict international standards and project requirements.

Requirements

• Lead the development and implementation of the project’s quality management system
• Oversee all QA/QC functions across engineering, procurement, and site execution
• Prepare and manage key quality documentation such as ITPs, PQMPs, NCRs, IRs/RFIs
• Coordinate inspections with third parties, clients, and regulatory authorities
• Monitor compliance with ISO, IEC, and project-specific standards
• Supervise a multidisciplinary QA/QC team and provide technical leadership
• Ensure timely reporting, corrective actions, and continuous quality improvement

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, or Power System preferred)
• Minimum 10 years in QA/QC roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership role on EPC, energy, or infrastructure projects
• Strong familiarity with high-voltage or large-scale construction works is preferred
• Proven success in managing quality systems for technically complex environments

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, IEC standards, and QA methodologies
• Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills
• Proficiency in tools such as Excel, PDF markup, and quality reporting systems
• Strong problem-solving ability under pressure
