Job description

We are seeking an experienced and highly competent Quality Manager to lead and strengthen the Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions within our pressure vessel and heat exchanger manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ASME-coded equipment manufacturing and strong exposure to TEMA standards within a reputed, large-scale industrial environment, preferably aligned with Aramco requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the organization’s Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) framework.
  • Oversee inspection and testing activities for ASME and TEMA-related pressure vessels and heat exchangers.
  • Ensure full compliance with ISO 9001, ASME codes, TEMA standards, and applicable regulatory and client requirements (including Aramco standards).
  • Supervise welding inspections, NDT activities, hydrotesting, dimensional inspection, coating inspection, and documentation control.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Establish and maintain robust documentation, traceability systems, and audit readiness across the facility.
  • Lead internal and external audits, including customer and third-party inspections.
  • Interface effectively with Production, Engineering, Projects, Supply Chain, and HSE departments to embed quality across all operational processes.
  • Manage customer interactions, technical reviews, and compliance discussions with professionalism and authority.
  • Develop and mentor quality teams, inspectors, and engineers to build a strong quality culture.

Requirements

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory).

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in reputed, large-scale manufacturing organizations involved in Pressure Vessels (PV) and Heat Exchangers (HE).
  • At least 5 years in a managerial capacity as a Quality Manager within a pressure vessel / heat exchanger manufacturing environment.
  • Strong exposure to ASME codes (Section VIII, Section IX, etc.) and TEMA standards is essential.
  • Proven experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Inspection & Testing, and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).
  • Experience working in Aramco-approved or similar regulated environments is highly preferred.

Preferred Certifications

  • ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) or equivalent.
  • Lead Auditor Certification – ISO 9001.
  • Welding-related certifications (e.g., CSWIP / CWI).
  • Coating Inspection Certification (e.g., NACE / BGAS) will be an added advantage.
