Quality Engineer Intern (f/m/div)

Job Description
As Quality Engineer Intern, you'll help drive our proactive approach to customer satisfaction, contribute to our 'best in class' product quality, and participate in critical digitalization initiatives that transform our quality processes.

In your new role you will:

• Document and compile quality performance reports, audit activities, and presentations for supplier evaluations and management reviews
• Support Infineon digitalization initiatives in the field of quality
• Track and analyze performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities through advanced analytical tools (Tableau, Excel, SAP, JIRA, Python)
• Support supplier claims and root cause analysis to drive effective problem resolution
• Work closely with the procurement, engineering, production, suppliers, and global management teams
• Work with FMEAs, Control Plans, PPA, APQP, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA 6.3 and more

Your Profile
You have good communication skills and can quickly establish effective working relationships with others, working in a team. You are responsible and can manage deadlines and set high standards for yourself. You also thrive in an international and multicultural environment. 

You are best equipped for this task if you:

• Are currently studying Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related fields) or Quality Management, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration
• Have basic knowledge of semiconductors/quality management systems
• Are proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint,...) for data analysis and reporting
• Are familiar with statistical tools or software (e.g., Python, Tableau, Minitab) - would be a plus
• Are fluent in English
