To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Quality Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

This position will be working closely to the 3PL warehouse to improve quality incoming material reception and increase efficiency about material claiming processes. We are looking for a proactive individual with excellent interpersonal
skills, the ability to foster collaboration between teams, solve operational challenges, and drive the successful implementation of new processes with a focus on results.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Develops and implements methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devises methods to assess cost. 
  • Compiles and writes training material and conducts training sessions on quality control activities. 
  • Managing customer quality complaints related to 3PL handled materials
  • Assessing and approving supplier process control plans, qualifications, and effectiveness
  • Leading inventory at risk management, MRB participation, and non-conformance investigations.
  • Conducting supplier Quality System audits and driving improvement plans
  • Owning corrective and preventive actions (CAR / SCAR) through closure
  • Monitoring and reporting supplier performance metrics and KPIs
  • Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, Flex policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Leading continuous improvement, Lean, and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste and variation
  • Supporting Product Engineering and Quality leadership in customer and audit interactions.
  • Initiates corrective action requests as needed and tracks to satisfactory completion. 
  • Assists with development and implementation of quality audits. 
  • In charge of developing, applying, revising and maintaining quality standards for processing materials into partially finished or finished products. 
  • Designs and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and/or production equipment. 
  • Explores reports and returned products and recommends corrective action. 
  • Establishes programs to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement and research of equipment and facilities. 

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • Consistent experience performing a similar role, working closely to warehouse staff and processes to ensure appropriate material quality. Familiar with ISO certifications.
  • Previous experience managing projects with focus on continuous
    improvement through the use of lean manufacturing tools.
  • Experience Conducting supplier Quality System audits, driving improvement plans and owning corrective and preventive actions (CAR / SCAR) through closure.
  • English fluency intermediate without any problems to communicate.
