Role Overview
To assure the production of quality products to meet the requirements of our approvals and our customers’ expectations.
This is a full time position, working a schedule of 4 on, 4 off from 7am-7pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out internal audits as required.
- Perform Quality Control testing on finished goods in line with standard procedures.
- Test raw materials to ensure they meet business requirements.
- Calibrate test equipment or arrange for equipment calibration when required.
- Inspect customer and site returns through the RMA process.
- Assist with type approval of new products and certification processes.
- Support certification body audits and visits by completing required testing activities.
- Maintain high standards of safety and housekeeping within departmental work areas.
- Support corrective and preventative actions and contribute to risk assessments and safe systems of work.
- Assist within the UKAS laboratory and complete all mandatory training requirements.
Skills and Experience
- Excellent communication skills at all levels.
- Proven ability to follow processes and procedures accurately.
- Good standard of PC literacy, including Microsoft Office packages.
- Willingness to work occasional weekends and overtime.
- Previous experience of working in Continuous Improvement initiatives would be greatly advantageous
