Quality Assurance Technician

As a Quality Assurance Technician at Otto International, you will be responsible for evaluating samples, giving comments to the factory in order to improve product quality and avoid potential faults in mass production. You will strive for operational excellence in performing your role. To control the quality of products by carrying out in-line and final inspection.

How will you make a difference?

• Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, merchandising, QC and fabric teams, in regard to product quality.

• Provide technical advice and recommend corrective actions on any quality issue.

• Create style packages / review style packages from customers.

• Evaluate and comment on samples in regard to measurements, workmanship and fit (3D or analog).

• Review and change paper patterns (3D or analog).

• Conduct final approval in the market on behalf of customer.

• Regularly visit factories/suppliers.

• Arrange and conduct pp sample meetings in factories with all stakeholders.

• Participate in any risk assessment meeting/product review.

• Follow any other task assigned by supervisor.

Who we are looking for?

• Graduated with a degree in relevant fields such as Fashion or Garment/Textile Technology.

• At least 5 years’ experience in the garment field.

• Experienced with flat knit products such as sweater and cardigan.

• Familiar with quality measures standard.

• Good textile/garment knowledge and familiar with garment manufactory cycle.

• Sewing experience is a plus.

• Good communication skills.

• Quick learner.

• Good Integrity behaviour.

• Good command of English.
