Full-time, 40 hours/week
Pay commensurate with experience

Our development team is essential to ensuring the excellence and success of SuretyBonds.com’s industry-leading software products.

We’re looking to add a QA Subject Matter Expert who is passionate about quality, detail-oriented, and eager to help elevate our product standards. Even if you don’t check every box below, we encourage you to apply — your unique perspective and skills are welcome here.

What you will do:

  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert on product features, functionalities, and user expectations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and users to define and uphold quality standards based on deep product knowledge.
  • Conduct thorough testing including functional, regression, and user acceptance testing to ensure alignment with product specs.
  • Analyze user feedback and QA insights to drive targeted product improvements.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for product features, QA processes, and testing protocols.
  • Facilitate training sessions for internal teams and external users on product features and best practices.
  • Assist with internal tools administration to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to share testing outcomes and recommend process improvements.

How you will work:

  • You will engage closely with product teams, stakeholders, and users to ensure quality and alignment.
  • You will be detail-oriented and organized, managing multiple testing and documentation tasks effectively.
  • You will communicate clearly and collaborate across teams to foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

What you need to know (or be willing to learn):

  • Strong willingness to learn and understand product features, user needs, and quality assurance methodologies.
  • Comfortable working independently while supporting team priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex product concepts to varied audiences.
  • Passion for teamwork and facilitating cross-functional collaboration.

Characteristics of a strong team member
This is a hybrid and unique role, and with that needs to come a willingness to adapt to any situation or task that may arise. Given this landscape, we are looking for someone who is:

  • Positive, solution-oriented thinker who takes initiative and adds value.
  • Open to ideas from all experience levels and backgrounds — no gatekeeping here.
  • Quick learner eager to help and grow wherever needed.
  • Ownership mindset with accountability for quality and project success.

What sort of schedule should I expect to work?
We’re pretty flexible. Our home office is open from 7 AM to 7 PM CST so our Production and Customer Care Teams can easily service clients nationwide. Team members reporting to Development Team typically work sometime between 8 AM CST and 6 PM CST and have a regular daily standup at 10 AM CST.

What can I expect to earn?
Starting pay is negotiable and commensurate based on the skill and experience.
A few of our many company benefits include:

  • 6% 401K matching
  • Paid parental leave
  • Tuition reimbursement
  • Flexible health, vision, and dental plans sponsored by the company
  • Monthly company events that foster camaraderie
