Title: Quality Assurance Specialist Intern

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and document application test scenarios and test cases based on software requirements and technical specifications for all SOTI product offerings.

• Create, implement, and maintain test coverage for SOTI’s web and mobile applications.

• Collaborate within an agile team alongside QA Analysts, Developers, UX Designers, Product Managers, and Scrum Masters.

• Participate in test execution for each sprint (Agile) or testing phase.

• Analyze, track, and document bugs and customer-reported issues.

• Prioritize testing tasks, scenarios, and test cases, and report on testing progress.

• Conduct exploratory testing of SOTI applications during development.

• Provide creative and innovative solutions to complex testing challenges.

• Contribute to QA process improvements to ensure consistency and standardization across product lines.

• Work in a collaborative, quality-focused role within agile teams to help shape SOTI’s product offerings.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify effective test scenarios.

• Ability to troubleshoot and isolate issues, log defects, and collaborate with developers for resolution.

• Proactively identify areas for improvement from a QA perspective and follow up with solutions.

• Participate in test automation initiatives and explore new tools to enhance automation efforts.

• Support senior QA team members with day-to-day testing activities.

• Write and maintain test cases for assigned features.

• Proficiency in at least one programming language (C# preferred).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Good to have:

• Familiarity with Microsoft Test Manager, Team Foundation Server (TFS), Visual Studio, and Jira.

• Knowledge of various testing types such as security, performance, and system testing.

• Understanding of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) is an advantage.

• Solid understanding of the OSI model and computer networking principles (TCP/IP).

• Experience with C# and Playwright.

Must Have:

You're a student enrolled in either IT, Computer Science, or another relevant program.
