Quality Assurance Engineer (Egypt)

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and passionate QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality before they reach our users.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute systems to check for issues
• Document test cases
• Perform and document risk analysis
• Record test progress and results
• Code automated tests
• Create test plans
• Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness
• Discover bugs within software
• Drive innovation and streamline overall testing processes
• Identify, isolate, and track bugs throughout testing
• Identify any potential problems that users might encounter
• Perform manual and automated testing
• Research and analyze product features being tested
• Research new tools, technologies, and testing processes
• Review user interfaces for consistency and functionality

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing
• 3+ years of experience with manual testing methodologies and test case development
• 2+ years of experience with bug tracking and project management tools (Jira, Confluence)
• 2+ years of experience with API testing tools (Postman, Insomnia, Swagger UI)
• 1+ years of working knowledge of automation tools (Selenium, Test Cafe)
• 1+ years of basic JavaScript knowledge for simple test script development
• 3+ years of experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Demonstrated ability to create comprehensive test plans and risk analysis documentation

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of overall QA experience
• 2+ years in a senior or lead testing role
• 1+ years experience mentoring junior QA team members
• Experience with performance and security testing
• Experience with mobile application testing
• Familiarity with database testing and SQL queries
• Knowledge of test management tools beyond Jira
• Experience with international testing and localization
