About Job
Role Overview
We are seeking an analytical, precise, and highly articulate Lead Quality Analyst (Medical Scribing & Transcription) with 5-8 years of experience to spearhead the quality framework for our healthcare data operations. In this role, you will be the ultimate gatekeeper of quality, bridging the gap between AI-generated outputs and human clinical precision.
You will be responsible for executing advanced audits across two distinct workflows (AI-assisted Medical Scribing and Verbatim Medical Transcription etc), interpreting complex data evaluation matrics (Precision, Recall, F1-Score), communicating directly with clients, and driving the production team toward zero-defect delivery through rigorous feedback.
Key Responsibilities
1. Advanced Quality Auditing & Governance
- Scribing Audits: Critically evaluate AI-generated clinical summaries against audios. Verify that all complex diagnostic data, treatment plans, and clinical nuances are perfectly captured, and that the final output meets strict professional medical documentation standards.
- Transcription Audits: Perform precise quality checks on verbatim transcripts to ensure strict compliance with formatting guidelines:
- Validation of audio segmentation boundaries
- Verification of exact speaker attribution (Diarization).
- Verification of context-driven punctuation rules.
- Performance Driving: Transform audit data into targeted coaching, error-analysis reports, and feedback loops that actively drive the production team to improve throughput and accuracy.
2. Metrics Analytics & Insight Generation
- Data Interpretation: Master and utilize data science metrics including Precision, Recall, and F1-Scores to evaluate both human and AI performance.
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Deep-dive into quality dips, identify systematic errors (e.g., misdiagnoses vs. segmentation errors), and execute targeted corrective action plans.
- Performance Reporting: Compile, analyze, and present weekly/monthly quality dashboards and throughput reports for senior management.
- Client Communication: Act as the primary technical point of contact for the client regarding quality metrics. Lead calibration calls, interpret client feedback, and align auditing standards with client expectations.
- Guideline Calibrations: Proactively identify ambiguities in client transcription/scribing guidelines, seek clarification, and standardize internal calibration manuals for the team.
Required Skills & Technical Expertise
- Clinical Accuracy: Exceptional medical terminology knowledge across multiple specialties (Pharmacology, Anatomy, Lab values, and Chronic disease management).
- Analytical Mindset: Expert understanding of data evaluation frameworks. Ability to interpret how a drop in Recallaffects clinical completeness versus how a drop in Precision affects noise in data.
- Acoustic & Language Skills: High proficiency in understanding diverse global accents (particularly US/UK English) and excellent command over formal, written English grammar.
- Quality Mentorship: Strong capability to deliver firm, objective, and constructive feedback to production staff, driving accountability across the floor.
Educational Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Education:
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Nursing, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or Life Sciences.
- B.Pharm / M.Pharm (Bachelor/Master of Pharmacy).
- BAMS / BHMS / BDS (Alternative Medicine / Dental graduates looking for non-clinical corporate pathways).
- Graduates in English Literature or general streams are acceptable ONLY if accompanied by a formal certification in Medical Transcription/Scribing.
Experience Profile:
- Total Experience: 5 to 8 years in the Medical Transcription / Medical Scribing / Healthcare Documentation industry.
- Relevant Experience: Minimum 3+ years of core experience acting as a Senior Quality Analyst (QA), Subject Matter Expert (SME), or Lead Auditor managing high-stakes healthcare data validation.
- Prior experience working with AI-generated transcripts, digital scribes, or complex segmentation annotation is highly preferred.
3. Client Interfacing & Guideline Management
