The Laboratory Technician is responsible for preparing, collecting, and analyzing samples from device production processes.
The role ensures the accuracy and reliability of routine testing, maintains compliance with quality and regulatory standards, and supports laboratory operations while safeguarding a clean and safe work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and identify samples according to internal procedures and applicable regulatory requirements for medical devices.

• Independently perform routine analyses (microbiological or physico-chemical) on production samples.

• Log and track samples in electronic or manual laboratory systems, ensuring full traceability.

• Conduct and monitor routine testing using laboratory instruments and equipment.

• Identify, report, and initiate investigations for any anomalies or non-conforming results.

• Perform daily verification, calibration, and maintenance checks on laboratory instruments.

• Accurately document observations, calculations, and test results for evaluation and reporting.

• Archive laboratory records and reports in compliance with regulatory and quality requirements.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment, adhering to GMP and biosafety standards.

• Participate in laboratory housekeeping, safety, and environmental initiatives.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by laboratory management in support of production and quality control activities.

• Ensure effective implementation of Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), and ILS policies and procedures across all

microbiological activities.

• Contribute to the development, review, and update of procedures and SOPs.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE & INTERPERSONAL SKILLS

• Education: Associate degree, high school diploma, or equivalent.

• Experience: 2-5 years of progressive experience in a GMP-regulated laboratory environment.

• Training: Knowledge of and training in GMP and ISO standards.

• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Interpersonal & Organizational Skills: Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.

• Attributes: Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.

• English Level A2: Able to understand and use basic work-related language with slow, clear speech.
