QA Engineer - Endpoint

About the role:

Responsibilities

• Be a product expert with a deep understanding of all customer scenarios.

• Analyze requirements/PRD and create test cases.

• Perform Windows/MacOS endpoints, Web App & API end-to-end testing.

• Build & own automated test suites for all end-to-end test cases.

• Analyze test results, troubleshoot and report issues to the product engineering team.

• Find bugs, create detailed bug reports and verify fixes.

• Reproduce customer-reported issues and enable product engineers to debug.

• Define approaches and own load & stress testing of features.

Requirements

• 5-6 years of experience as a Software Quality/Automation Engineer.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

• Able to work closely with Product Management and Product Engineering.

• Experience with Testing & Automating for Windows and/or MacOS endpoints.

• Experience in scripting with any of the languages like shell, python, javascript.

• Experience with various testing tools (Postman, Playwright, etc) and defect management tools (Linear, Jira, etc) on Linux systems.

• Experience in managing & setting up CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, CircleCI, etc).

• Good to have experience of testing OS kernel-mode components.

• Good to have experience of SaaS/Web application Testing and API Testing.

• Good to have performance testing experience with tools jmeter, gatling, etc.

• Preferred educational qualification: BE / BTech / MCA.

Compensation

Employee compensation will be determined based on interview performance, level of experience, specialization of skills, and market rate. During the offer discussion, your recruiter will review the finalized base salary, bonus (for applicable roles), benefits & perks, and stock options as they’ll be reflected in the offer letter.
