Job description

Are you looking for the next step in your career? Join us as a Purchasing Engineer and play a key role in project procurement for small and medium-sized tissue machine projects. You will influence project success by securing cost-efficient, high-quality materials and supplier solutions. In this role, you work closely with project, sales, and engineering teams to support cost estimation and profitability. You will also engage with suppliers, monitor market trends, and actively contribute to continuous cost optimization and efficiency improvements. 

Your responsibilities 

  • Manage procurement activities across raw materials, outsourced parts, standard components, and indirect purchasing based on company processes. 

  • Track purchasing progress, ensure product quality, and report status updates to stakeholders. 

  • Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to align procurement plans and optimize solutions. 

  • Negotiate prices with suppliers, develop new suppliers, and improve supplier quality and sustainability. 

  • Monitor market trends and supplier lead times to support project planning, cost estimates, and decision-making. 

Expectations for you 

  • Junior college degree or above; Bachelor’s degree is a plus. 

  • At least 3 years of relevant purchasing experience with knowledge of mechanical and electrical components. 

  • Good command of English in both written and spoken communication. 

  • Proficiency in MS Office tools; experience with ERP systems is an advantage. 

  • Awareness of ISO9001, ISO14001, and OHSAS18001 systems.
