We are searching for the best talent for Purchasing Analyst Senior (Indirect Procurement MRO) (Temporary 6 Months)

Responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing suppliers for all the products and services assigned. Furthermore, he/she is responsible for the identification and evaluation of purchasing strategies that present benefits for the company in price, quality and delivery. Performs all these purchasing activities in compliance with the corresponding regulations. If CSS Position: This position will have responsibilities across ETHICON and Cardiovascular and Specialty Solution (CSS) Companies Johnson and Johnson Family of Companies) including a span of multiple product platforms such as General Surgical Devices, Sutures, ENT, Infection Prevention, Electrophysiology and Surgical and Non-Surgical Aesthetics.

You will be responsible for:

Under limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson procedures and guidelines, this position:

  • Leads an indirect procurement category, with a primary focus on MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations).

  • Analyzes category spend, supplier base, and segmentation to identify opportunities for optimization and supply chain improvement.

  • Develops and implements sourcing strategies focused on cost reduction, efficiency, and value generation.

  • Leads supplier negotiations, contract execution, and ongoing supplier performance management.

  • Drives savings initiatives and cost improvement strategies, ensuring measurable financial impact through defined KPIs.

  • Identifies and executes continuous improvement and cost-saving projects aligned with business objectives.

  • Establishes and strengthens supplier relationships while ensuring service levels, quality, and delivery performance.

  • Collaborates effectively with cross-functional stakeholders at different organizational levels, building strong and trusted relationships.

  • Promotes standardization and scalability of products and services to generate economies of scale.

  • Monitors market trends, benchmarking data, and industry best practices to support decision-making.

  • Maintains and improves procurement metrics, controls, and reporting processes.

  • Leads RFQs/RFPs and bidding processes in compliance with company policies.

  • Identifies risks and proactively develops mitigation strategies while capitalizing on opportunities.

  • Participates in audits and ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Maintains accurate supplier and category data.

  • Responsible for communicating business-related issues or opportunities to the next management level.

  • Ensures compliance with all Health, Safety, Environmental, and company policies and procedures.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in indirect procurement, specifically managing MRO categories.

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Advanced English proficiency (required).

  • Strong experience in supplier negotiations and contract management.

  • Proven track record in delivering cost savings and cost optimization initiatives.

  • Experience leading continuous improvement and savings projects.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify risks and opportunities.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.

  • Experience working with KPIs, savings metrics, and performance tracking.

  • Certification or experience in Continuous Improvement / Six Sigma (preferred).

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.

  • Strong business and financial acumen.
