Public Speaking Teacher (Sparks English)

Requirements

• Open to graduates from all majors/disciplines with minimum 1 year of experience teaching English to young learners.
• Minimum B2 English proficiency; C1–C2 proficiency preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Confident speaking in front of groups and audiences.
• Passionate about developing children's confidence, communication, and leadership skills.

Good to Have

• Experience as an MC, host, moderator, or presenter.
• Experience coaching public speaking, speech, storytelling, debate, or similar competitions.
• Experience preparing students for performances, showcases, or competitions.
• Background in English literature, communications, education, public relation, performing arts, or related fields.

Job Description

• Prepare and deliver engaging public speaking classes as scheduled, ensuring the best learning experience for students.
• Conduct classes in full English or bilingual English-Indonesian, depending on the students’ preferences.
• Conduct and assist trial classes as scheduled.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback for improvement, and create daily class activity reports for the parents.
• Fulfill other administration tasks related to the academics, including but not limited to marking daily attendance and filling in personalized progress reports.
• Participate and give academic support to the center's marketing events
• Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss students' progress and action plan on how to improve them
